I am a planner.  Ya just have to set goals and make a plan to reach those goals.  The only thing is,  plans have to be rethought and revamped many times over.  Forgive yourself when you realize  the ideas you had to start with didn't work.  It's o.k. Keep moving. Don't give up!  I will say; however, there are those who only plan, and plan , and plan....... but never do anything to execute those great concepts.  At least do what you have strategized to do.  Then after a good while if it is not working, REVAMP.

A little note:

I have learned that even though I have to rethink and revamp because my original plan wasn't working as well as I knew it should, I was still way further down the road than I would have been had I not started anything at all.

When my daughter was in the fourth grade she was given an assignment to write a paragraph about bees.  In tears, she cried out to me, " I don't know what to write."  A friend of mine had heard about a writing program and invited me to come to her house for an introduction. We purchased this program.  The result: My then little girl comes to me grinning from ear to ear in all excitement asking, " Can I read you what I wrote?"

My sweet little girl is now a grown woman of 21 and is working on her English major.

Invited to a Valentine dinner many years ago, I was introduced to Generation Cedar.  I was so very impressed by what I witnessed.  You see I knew that raising our children was something we did on purpose.  We as parents are not suppose to just let our children grow up, but we are to have a plan and set goals for their upbringing.  I witnessed many families with this same vision at this dinner.

Over time I have visited the blog at Generation Cedar  and I can tell you the truth is always told. You will not find compromise.  I am grateful to know that there is a family with such great integrity.

Due to physical issues, I needed a homebased business in order to provide a living.  I started selling on ebay.  Not knowing anything about it, I just listed some items here and there.  At the post office one day a man came in and the post master looked at me and said, " He sells on eBay, you should talk to him."  He shared some ideas with me and we went our own way.

A few months pass and I am still not making any money. Selling things yes. Being able to pay bills no.  I emailed him and he popped me back three messages with loads of information. One of my concerns  was I had learned you can't sell on ebay during the month of January due to people just not buying.  He said to list everyday because you never know when someone is shopping for a certain item.

I am so glad I listened to him.  I have been listing away this month and my sales are growing.

Why is it when one thing goes wrong with your computer your whole world falls apart?  There is not a bit of patience to be found.  All reasoning and sense of being a calm person is non existing.  Thinking of myself as an adult, I would say that when something goes wrong I just find out what it is and fix it.  Oh, no, I have to panic, have some kind of a fit, and just know that there is no hope.

My wonderful son comes in, turns my laptop upside down, unscrews the bottom, pops something back into place and now I am happy.  It works.
